when you're away from something, or someone, letting go is easier. you don't see the places you've been, walk the paths you've held hands, sit on the steps you've spent hours talking. you build new memories in the place you're in. sure you hear the occasional sentimental song, you remember, you move on.

i started my musical year by buying imago's blush and pussycat doll's pcd. for my last week in LB, those two albums were the soundtrack of my driving days. thus, everytime i pop them in to my workstation, i am transported to that road where i turn left after the bridge, hot waters of the pool, smell of oranges, late night internet sessions, photo sessions in the forest, alone time with otto, and hugs from a lifesize teddy bear.
