schedule of a "professional" bum
after 3 months of working non-stop, i'm finally on my downtime at the office. oh happy day! here's what a typical day at the office this past week:
anywhere between 7am to 10am: i casually stroll in, taking my sweet time walking to the elevators, opening my computer, clocking in and checking my email only to find that there's nothing significant. then, depending on who's in the office, we have a quick breakfast/lunch.
10am-6pm: nothing. as we would say, pey-ticks! (said with a twang). i always thought that the Internet was a gift from God; everything is there! Shopping, receipies, fashion tips, books, art, everything! But, after spending 8 hours in front of the computer with unlimited knowledge sources, things become limited.
segue: whoever designed/programmed came up with online journals, is complete genius! i love it! reading someone's journal is better than reading a book! it's nice to imagine and put yourself in someone else's shoes for a few minutes. i am especially hooked on someone's blog. everytime i read it, even the archives, i fall more in-like with him. he is just so interesting! his stories and pictures are so fabulous! he sees things and captures them. i am thankful that he shares them though his site.
anyway, going back to my daily routine
6pm: i rush out of the office, cross the street and head to the gym to try to burn off as much fat as i can, which is not too many.
830pm-9pm: i walk the 15 minutes to Landmark to catch a jeepney home.
10pm: i sleep like a baby.
then before i know it, the sun streams into my room and the whole thing starts over again. this is just in: my days of doing nothing is short-lived. i will be working again, so to speak. lots of things lined up for us trainers and i'm not quite sure how to feel about it. i mean, i won't be bored out my brain, but i don't want the stress of conducting a class again.
hhhmmm....you want what you cannot have. it's human nature.
