isang linggong ewan

i don't know if i should be flattered or weirded out. last week, until last night was one rollercoaster ride...

monday:

as i was eating at friday's with my girlfriends, a message came into my phone. my neighbor was asking if i wanted to go out for drinks. since i was about to go home, i said sure. when i got to our building, i took a bath and headed on over to his place. his two friends were there and we grabbed a couple of drinks at this hole in the wall along kamagong. it was nice to have all this attention showered on me.

tueday:

after gym, and just as the storm was building up, iza and i, together with ariel and jason had dinner at max's. then, the boys take us to malate to go to snapper (who wasn't at his place fortunatly!). then we stay at the treats near iza and grab a couple of drinks. then we go home. i'm one of the boys.

wednesday:

happy birthay to me! my birthday date bailed out on me. all good. drinking at temple, i SMS jas with this message that was oozing with hints. then he texts back. i have never been shot down as point blank as that. damn! no longer am i one of the boys, i suddenly turned into a girl.

thursday:

still shocked at what happened the night before, i go on with the day in total disbelief and cursing under my breath. never will i SMS him. well, maybe i will, only to get my VCDs back.

friday:

i go home to LB early and pick up mom at mcdonald's. i walk to my college to say hi to the orgmates. it hit me how beautiful the campus is during dusk. picture perfect. you should have seen that sunset, with your own eyes. no more 3x5s.

saturday:

my highschool guy calls me up and we catch up. he's my what-might-have-been-guy...hhhmmmm...hay...

sunday:

as i was getting ready to go back to manila, the flower boy texts and tells me he's back in manila from boracay. i ask him if he wants to hang out. he said he'll see. he ended up sleeping. then when i was on the bus, my phone rings reflecting a number i've never seen before. i answer it and the person on the other line knows my name. as it turns out, he's my ex-boyfriend from way back when innocense was still alive and i believed in love. he asks if we can hang and i said sure. we meet at greenbelt, re-locate to the fort and then ended up at my place and watched reality bites. if i had known that the night would end up the way that it did, i never would have agreed to meet up with him. i asked him a question and i got a truthful answer. then suddenly, in that second of realization that he was right, everything changed. all that i thought was true melted away. damn! knowing the truth is not always good.
