roadtrip

last saturday, after waking up at 12 noon and having a hearty lunch of kangkong and eggplants, my mom and her colleague had to go to san pablo to visit a project site. i did a quick evaluation of my activities for the day and realizing that i had nothing planned decided to tag along. i haven't been to san pablo in quite a while and the trip there was pleasant, sans the abrupt stopping of the jeeps. we got to the site and what greeted me was the view of balibato, one of the seven lakes of san pablo.


as it turns out, my mom was spearheading an effort to reforest a part of the mountain that's been quarried. they had the narra seedlings growing beautifully and ready for transferring. we're planning to do that 2 weeks from now. side note: people who don't know me automatically think that i'm just a city girl who can't get herself dirty. but, i have a love affair with nature; i try to spend as much time with her as possible.
