weekend recap

it was a good weekend. family weekend.

all four of us were able to go home to LB. we didn't talk about it. i guess we all just had the feeling to go home to headquarters and needless to say, the parents were very happy to see us.

we had a great saturday night dinner at our favorite vietnamese hole in the wall restaurant, although kuya jerome and i were at the time awake almost 24hours (and i had just flown in! distance displacement is a killer!!)

sunday lunch was great too! mom cooked my request; tinolang manok and tuna panga! yum yum!! then mom, jen and i headed to the new SM in sta.rosa for female bonding and RETAIL THERAPY! i went home with nothing, and i went back to cebu with a bag full of new clothes! and we got to take the new getz out for a spin. jenny did a good job driving from LB to sta. rosa. then when we were in lb, it was my turn to drive to ros' place. i love the new car. i think i'll call him "hi hoe", from "hi hoe silver, away!!" since it's silver. any ideas on a cool car name?

then earlier, i met up with kuya jerome in greenbelt for a late lunch at kitchen. before that, shiva was able to drop by and we talked for a bit. flight at 7pm and i was in cebu by 810pm. it's amazing how it takes me longer to get to lb from makati, than it does for me to get to cebu!

next trip home will be in april for the twins' 30th! i hope i can make it. the plane ticket will do serious damage to my wallet but i'm crossing my fingers that mom will be generous enough to pay for half. hehehe....
