it's a hard knock life

i just terminated someone.

no, i'm not a terminator! but it's part of my job to make sure that the people who go to production will be able to hack it. in this instance, i saw that he couldn't so i had to let him go. the bad thing about this is, people think that it's easy for me to terminate. but no! i spent so many hours thinking things over, making sure that i'm making the right decision, and that it has basis. even if it's part of my job, it's still hard. and it didn't help that i saw my class cry over the loss of their batchmate.

i need a vacation.
