chilax weekend

this past weekend was exactly what i needed, and more than i could have hoped for!

lunch at casa verde with fellow trainers. i had the baby back ribs. imagine, a rack for only 98 pesos! where in manila can you get something like that?! and it was delicious! for desert, we had death by chocolate. oh my gosh! it was so sinful! during lunch, a live band was playing out in the garden. they played that 50's song from "sleepwalkers". if only i had someone to dance with, i would've!


i made into reality one of my dreams, being a singer in a band. aidrianne and i suddenly thought of singing with the band so we hurried to the stage and the band was gracious enough to endulge our whim. instead of just one song, we ended up singing till the end of their set. and not only that, but the whole TQID team came up on stage. RIOT!! ROCK!!



beautiful people. our last night in cebu before ivy left for manila. that's our Buzz, a man not afraid to show his emotions. gonna miss you so much!!

sunday, i woke bright and early for church. i saw pastor jo and sat down for the service. the Word always quenches the thirst that is deep within me. during the service, i was sitting beside this girl and we got to talk. she's from fairview and they just moved to cebu because her husband got assigned here. she was so nice and she even invited me to her home. i had to turn it down coz i was going to meet buzz for lunch. as i was heading out the door, pastor jo greets me and introduces me to other young adults. and now, we'll be having our services every sunday at the waterfront!! yehey!!

spent lunch with buzz and hurried back to the hotel to say goodbye to ivy. good thing i was able to hold back my tears. i miss her much! i go back to my room and watch minority report. then, i take a long, hot bubble bath, scrub-a-dub away and of course, moisturize and then headed down to the massage place and got myself a thermo-aroma massage. ggggoooooosssssssshhhhhhhh....it was soooo good!!!! relaxing...

ended the weekend with dinner at sunburst and desert at a local cofee shop with jj and paoul. good food, good friends, good conversation. and despite all that has happened, i still love cebu!
