to you who is reading this, these are all the things i never had the guts to tell you...

i agree.

being with you is definitly easy. you're always so easy to talk to. music was a common denominator. we could talk about anything. you were always so open.

but

parting ways with you was not easy. it took a lot on my part to say what i had to say. and the sporadic meetings didn't help. i kept on thinking why you couldn't give a part of yourself to me that you could to others. eventually, i accepted it. and i am contented being your friend. cause i'd rather that you be a friend and be a part of my life in one way or another than you not being there at all.

so when you say that you're a rest stop on the great highway to bigger committments; An iced cold drink halfway through the barren desert land in between Dating Haven and Relationship City; think about this:

I wanted you to be mine. i wanted so much for you to take me from our dating haven into our own relationship city.

but you never did.

and i understand.
