tanned and jellyfished

after two whole runs of trigger training class, i got my much awaited and much needed 4 day vacation! and it was so perfect because my favorite man was in cagayan and i went to see him!! yehey!


WAVE 22-01 CEBU TRIGGER CLASS DURING PAJAMA DAY
so right after i graduated my class, i went straight to the pier to catch the 8pm boat to cagayan de oro. i was so excited to travel! borj and i hung out at the deck and watched the shtars! pretty pretty shtars! i woke up bright and early to watch the sunrise.


upon docking at the cagayan de oro port, the badjao boat people came out of nowhere!they're the ones who dive for the coins that you throw into the water. its sad that even the waters have beggars. sheesh...if only i could give them jobs, then they'd be in a much better state.

my little cousin bea was there to greet me at the pier together with my uber cool aunt. and of course, my beloved beeg was there, holding a sausage-egg mcmuffin and coffee. see, that's why i love him to bits!

then we head straight for another port to take us to camiguin. after a 45 minute boat ride, we arrived in camiguin. this was my second time to go and it still took my breath away! it's just so pretty! after a quick lunch and checking in at the resort, we all headed to the hot springs at the foot of mt. hibukhibuk. aaahhhh...nothing like a good soak to melt your stress away.

the old foggies and my baby cousin went to sleep, while beeg, clyde and i went drinking at the beach.


sssoooo fun!! got wasted and just waited for the buzz to come down before we headed back to our room. in the morning we were all hung over but the ocean was beconing and we couldn't resist! after a hearty breakfast of freshfish, we changed into our swim attire and hit the waves.


unfortunately, after swimming for a mere two minutes, i got stung by jellyfish. i thought it was just those little fish that nibble on you while you swim, but it hurt!! and when i got out of the water, i had these marks on my thighs. eeewwww...beeg offered to pee on it and i was like "heck no beeg! i love you for offering, but heck, i don't love you that much!" i still have the battle scars. :(



yehey white island!! it's just a sand bar off the coast of camiguin island. crystal clear waters and white sand. perfect!



random shots...me and my auntie cora. she's a nurse in las vegas and she came over to visit. the last time that my mom and i were in camiguin, she happened to call us and we were telling her how beautiful it was. we promised that when she went home, we'd take her to the island. and we always keep our promises... that's beeg wishing he were a girl! hehehe and the teddy bear is the mascot of my aunt's ICU unit. he's been every where in the world! that's my favorite shot of him (of course i was the one who took it)

we went home to camp philips in bukidnon for some r&r. we went to the pineapple fields and passed this gorgeous river! it was like, for 5 minutes straight, all we saw were bamboos on either side of us. then bam! there was a clearing and this huge river lay before us. it was so inviting that i wanted to make a bamboo raft and shoot the rapids!! hehehe


alas, all good things come to an end. as i watched the sun rise over the sea on my way back to cebu, i couldn't help but sigh, give thanks to the Lord, and welcome back the city. i mean after all, one way to appreciate something, is to miss it.

next trip...los banos, here i come!!!! I SO CANNOT WAIT!!!!
